How to Create an In-Home Studio for Any Creative Endeavor

Whether you like singing, playing piano, sculpting or weaving, it’s easier to pursue your passion at home when you have the space to do it. Practicing your skills at home can be a real challenge when you’re trying to work around your family members or deal with constant distractions. Making a multi-purpose studio is the perfect way to focus on your passion at home while staying organized. Find out how to make one below.

Things to Consider Before Diving In

While a home studio can be budget-friendly, it’s still a big decision to make a dedicated space for your hobbies or passions at home. Here are a few things to think about:

Using Your Studio

Creating a home studio is a lot of work, so make sure you get the most out of your new space.

  • Look for online lessons that you can use to stay on track with your practice.
  • Whatever your skills may be, try to form good habits that will help you practice daily.
  • Make sure you have good lighting that helps you focus and relax as you use your studio.
  • Work towards ways to reduce distractions so you can meet your goals.

Keeping Your Studio Clean and Organized

Your studio will only live up to its potential if you keep it clean and clutter-free.

Having a studio can make all the difference when it comes to achieving your creative goals at home. With the right design, your studio can be flexible enough to serve as a guest room, workout room, or craft room while also providing a quiet sanctuary for you to work on your skills.

COVID-19: A message from our team

As of Thursday, 3/12, we have moved all our lessons to an online platform. Currently enrolled students are continuing their musical education without interruption, until it is safe to resume normal in person lesson scheduling.

New students are welcome to enroll for online private lessons at any time. Now more than ever in these challenging times, we are reminded of why we teach music and how music can be a wonderful outlet for students of any age. E-mail us at Anahid@ASPianoStudio.com or call 888-855-1065 for more information.

We are all in this together. Please know we are here to support you in any way we can.

With our best wishes for your health and well-being,

Anahid Syourapian and the faculty at ASPS

🎉🎉🎉ANNOUNCEMENT!🎉🎉🎉
It is my great pleasure to announce that our student Nikole, after many months of dedicated and consistent practicing, has received offers from all the universities she auditioned for!
One university granted her an award based on her excellent performance in the audition, and another university admitted her in piano performance concentration directly which happens very rare in university music programs!
🎉Nikole also won a gold medal in Quebec international classical music competition in Piano with a dazzlingly Chopin Etude!🎉
We are sad to lose her as a student, but very happy she have decided to pursue music as a profession!
